The HD-1 Professional Degausser is specifically designed to erase higher coercivity media, such as hard drives and DLT tape cartridges. The machine effectively erases all metal particle formats, including Beta SP, Beta SX, Digital BetaCam, D1- D5, Travan, and all 4mm and 8mm data cartridges. Please note that hard disk drives cannot be reused after they are degaussed, as the degaussing vibrations damage the read/write heads.
OMD-1 is a desktop Optical Media Destroyer. It allows the end user to completely destroy all data on optical media discs. The OMD-1 is quick and easy to use. Simply push the switch to the forward position and place your disc into the opening marked “IN”. The disc will automatically pass through the OMD-1 and, upon exiting, will be completely un-readable.
The V860 Reel Tape Degausser is an all-purpose, low cost eraser. This light weight, low cost, table-top model provides 100% erasure on all types of Diskettes, VHS, Data reels and 3480/3490 cartridges. The coils have been designed specifically to provide a clean and consistent erasure, even with the popular but difficult to erase 3490e cartridges.
The CDS-2500A Automatic Heavy Duty Degausser for High-Oersted Media is designed to erase all formats of media that are less than 6 inches in width in only one pass. The degaussing field strength switch provides the option to change between high and low field strengths. It is like having two degaussers in one. On low, the CDS-2500A is an automatic continuous duty degausser capable of degaussing over 90 VHS tapes per minute without overheating. On high, the machine is a powerful high energy degausser capable of erasing the newest metal tape formats of up to 2400 oersteds.
